4000 New Business Teacher Jobs

Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Adolf Mkenda has hinted at the granting of permission to hire 4,000 business teachers to teach Secondary students from Form One to Form Four in the new Curriculum.

The President of the United Republic of Tanzania Hon. Mama Samia Suluhu Hassan has given permission to hire 4,000 business teachers to teach Secondary School students from Form One to Fourth in the new Curriculum to bring about a revolution in Business Education. This was stated on November 23, 2024 in Dodoma by the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Adolf Mkenda, while opening a training course for Quality Control Officers in Selected Districts.

In addition, Prof. Mkenda has asked the quality assurance in the country to collaborate with Council Directors in order to simplify their work as there are some challenges that can be resolved at the Council level and do not have to be resolved by the Ministry of Education. The training carries the slogan "School Quality Control based on Professionalism, Ethics and Responsibility for Positive Learning Outcomes" or in Swahili "Uthibiti Ubora wa Shule Unaozingatia Weredi, Maadili na Uwajibikaji Kwa Matokeo Chanya ya Ujifunzaji".
